Resources

For questions or issue reports, contact the developer directly on the Discord server.

Installation

The launcher developer does not provide official packages. Instead, the project relies on community and third-party maintainers. See the installation wiki page for guides. Note that instructions may be outdated due to limited maintenance resources.

Official support

These packages are officially supported by An Anime Team:

  • Flatpak (any distribution including Fedora, Pop!_OS, SteamOS / Steam Deck)

    RPM (Fedora, OpenSUSE)

    • Wiki
    • AAGL
    • Maintainer: Maroxy (second Discord admin)
    • Note: RPM packages are often outdated and not recommended.

    Community support

These packages are widely used and maintained by active community members:

    • AUR (Arch Linux, Manjaro, EndeavourOS)

      NixOS module (NixOS)

      Third-party support

These packages are maintained by third-party distributors with limited or no direct contact with the project:

Note: The Ebuild package is hosted in the official repository but receives infrequent updates from the maintainer, with recent updates made via community merge requests.

      Chinese version support

Chinese language support is automatically enabled if your system language is set to zh_cn. You can also change the game edition in the launcher settings.

GitHub is blocked in China, which affects other parts of the launcher beyond game edition selection. To use the launcher in China, you must create your own copy of the components repository, replace all GitHub release links with mirror links, and update the components index repository link in your launcher's config.json file.

For questions about Chinese version setup, contact the developer on Discord or by email.

      Project status

This project is in maintenance mode and considered feature complete. It continues to receive bugfixes and support for new game versions. The developer is working on other projects, including a universal launcher to unite all launchers into one. That project is currently in proof-of-concept stage and requires significant development. Follow the Discord server for updates.
